2018 and 2020 Copper River and Prince William Sound Salmon Disasters

CREW MEMBERS
Crew members who were employed by qualifying permit holders in 2018 and/or 2020 must complete and submit a total of (3) documents. Those include 1) Crew Member application, 2) Crew Member Affidavit, and 3) W-9 Form.
Please note, the crew member affidavit MUST be signed by a qualifying permit holder (or vessel owner for drift gillnet or seine fisheries). Please review the State of Alaska’s spend plan to confirm that you meet the minimum qualifications before applying for relief.
Crew Members will have until Friday, March 28th, 2025 to submit their applications.
Failure to submit all (3) documents may lead to disqualification:

PERMIT HOLDERS
Applications to qualifying permit holders will be mailed on Wednesday, November 27th, 2024. This includes:
- 2018 Copper River Drift Gillnet (S03E permits)
- 2020 Copper River and Prince William Sound Drift Gillnet (S03E permits)
- 2020 Prince William Sound Seine (S01E permits)
- 2020 Prince William Sound Set Gillnet (S04E permits)
If you have not received your application, please wait until by Monday, December 23rd, 2024, before inquiring into its status. This will allow sufficient time for USPS delivery or for the envelope to be returned to sender. If returned, PSMFC will make attempts to contact you to obtain an alternative address. Before submitting an inquiry, please review the State of Alaska’s spend plan to confirm that you meet the minimum qualifications for receiving an application. This will help PSMFC process applications faster. Applications are being mailed to the most recent address on file with CFEC. If you need to update your address, you must contact CFEC directly, as PSMFC cannot update addresses for you.
Permit Holders will have until Friday, February 28th, 2025 to submit their applications.
PROCESSORS
Processing Companies –
Applications to qualifying processing companies were mailed on Monday, November 18th, 2024. Qualifying processing companies were also emailed electronic copies of those same applications.
If you have not received your application, please wait until by Monday, December 23rd, 2024, before inquiring into its status. This will allow sufficient time for USPS delivery or for the envelope to be returned to sender. If returned, PSMFC will make attempts to contact you to obtain an alternative address. Before submitting an inquiry, please review the State of Alaska’s spend plan to confirm that you meet the minimum qualifications for receiving an application. If you need to update your address, you must contact ADF&G directly, as PSMFC cannot update addresses for you.
