Permit Holders

Applications were mailed 6/7/2024 and closed on 8/3/2024. Late applications were not accepted. 

 

Relief checks were mailed on 10/18/2024.

 

Due to changes the requirements for research activities approved under this disaster, ADF&G has additionally requested a spend plan amendment to remove research (~$180,000). Those funds would be disbursed pro rata to permit holders, processors, and eligible communities at a date TBD.

Crew Member

Applications were made available 6/7/2024 on and closed on 9/20/2024. Late applications were not accepted. 

 

Due to low return rates from crew members, those who applied would have received substantially more in relief funds than their permit holder counterparts. As this was not the intention of the spend plan, nor is it normal practice, a spend plan amendment was requested by the Alaska Dept. of Fish and Game (ADF&G). That spend plan amendment capped crew payments at $7,500.00 for each crew who applied. The remainder of funds will be issued to summer and winter permit holders, at a date TBD.
