    • Southeast Alaska and Chignik areas did not have subsistence funds allocated under this spend plan.
      • Please contact the Alaska Dept. Fish and Game for more information. 

 

Please note, it is the sole responsibility of the captain or crew member to submit all required documentation.
Permit holders and Vessel owners are NOT responsible for submitting documentation.

  • Applicants will be expected to return via standard mail or PSMFC ShareFile upload the following:
    • Application that is signed, name is printed, and dated.
    • Complete W-9 tax form.
    • Affidavit from eligible permit holder or vessel owner (permit holder only for 2020 Norton Sound Salmon)
  • Applicants mailing paper applications should opt for delivery confirmation and/or tracking if you are concerned about when or whether your application was received.
    • PSMFC will NOT entertain inquires such as “Has my application been received?”
  • Applicants uploading their completed application packets to PSMFC’s ShareFile site will see the screen change to the following after a successful upload is complete.
    • Unfortunately, this system does not allow for automatic email confirmations.
    • PSMFC will NOT entertain inquires such as “Has my application been received?”
    • Please note that should you see the screen change, as shown below, your application was received and will be processed.

  • Applications are required to be postmarked for return (if mailing) by September 28th, 2024.
      • Late applications will NOT be accepted for any reason.
  • Alternatively, applications are required to be uploaded to PSMFC’s ShareFile site no later than 11:59pm AKDT on September 28th, 2024.
      • Late applications will NOT be accepted for any reason

 


 

PERMIT HOLDERS AND PROCESSORS

 

Applications were mailed on 6/25/2024 for the following:

 

1) 2020 Southeast Alaska (S01A, S03A, and S05B/S15B),

2) 2020 Chignik (S01L),

3) 2020/21 Yukon and 2020 Kuskokwim (S04Y and S04W), and

4) 2020 Norton Sound (S04Z).

 

  • Applications are being mailed to the address listed on your CFEC permit.
  • PSMFC does NOT maintain license databases; should you need to update your mailing address we’d recommend contacting the CFEC.
  • Should you believe you are eligible and have not received a unique application by July 15th, 2024 please email AKFishDisaster@psmfc.org and Commission staff will reply with an electronic copy. Electronic copies will NOT be emailed until after July 15th, 2024.
