Oregon CARES Act Information

Updated 9/27/2021

Oregon’s Round 2 CARES Act relief is not yet available.

At this time, the State of Oregon, with the Oregon Dept. Fish and Wildlife as the lead agency is in the process of developing their Round 2 spend plan. This document serves as the framework for administering the Round 2 CARES Act relief. Once a draft plan has been submitted for review and approved by NOAA Fisheries, only then can applications follow. The Commission is uncertain when either will occur. For questions regarding Oregon’s Round 1 or Round 2 CARES Act spend plans, please contact the ODFW at ODFW.CARESAct@odfw.oregon.gov

Please, if not already doing so, continue to monitor this website for updates. This will be our primary source for information regarding Washington’s Round 2 relief.

Oregon’s Round 1 application period has closed.

The application period for Oregon’s Round 1 relief closed on 9/8/2020. Due to a large percentage of applications submitted with errors and/or omissions it regrettably took the Commission longer than expected to process all applications. Checks were finally mailed at the end of January 20201. Applicants who applied yet were ineligible or disqualified have all been contacted; those who applied but did not receive payment should contact PSMFC at ORCares@psmfc.org
