2016-17 California Red Sea Urchin: APPLICATIONS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE

 

Applications were mailed on October 12th, 2021 to eligible 2016 and/or 2017 California Dept. Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Sea Urchin Diving Permit holders who previously made landings of Red Sea Urchin in ports north of the Monterey/San Luis Obispo county line between January 1, 20211 and December 31, 2015 and whose landings had a cumulative total of at least 1,000lbs during the prior 5-years (2011-2015).

 

Applications were also mailed on October 12th, 2021 to eligible processors/receivers/buyers who held a 2016 and/or 2017 Multi-function, Fish Retailer, Fish Receiver, Fish Processor, or Fish Wholesaler License. These applicants too must have had a history of receiving Red Sea Urchin in ports north of the Monterey/San Luis Obispo county line between January 1, 20211 and December 31, 2015 and whose landings had a cumulative total of at least 1,000lbs during the prior 5-years (2011-2015).

 

Applications were required to be postmarked no later than November 29th, 2021.
